What is more intimate than the joining of two beautiful people in love. Intimacy can get lost in bigger weddings, and I have such a love for romantic elopements. All it takes is the genuine love of two people in love. What makes it better and absolutely stunning? An epic wedding venue, a jawdropping dress, and perfect florals. These two are absolutely gorgeous people inside and out, and Rachel rocked those heels and that dress (keeping it classy in NYC!)
I think I fell in love with Rachel’s Alexandra Grecco dress the most. Long sleeves, buttons, a plunging neckline, and a slit that shows her legs for days = the perfect wedding dress. Romantic, cover where you need it, and timeless.
I have always said that if I wasn’t a photographer that I would be a florist. If I wasn’t a florist, I would be a calligrapher (TRY to be anyway. Getting that to look beautiful and effortless is hard work, so hands down and high fives to all of you talented calligraphers, and especially to Lazywood Lane for creating such beautiful pieces for this elopement)
Soft and romantic, this elopement just gives me warm, cozy feelings.
Being alone in such a beautiful space leaves me without words.
Lets let the photos do the talking.
“What greater thing is there for two human souls, than to feel that they are joined for life–to strengthen each other in all labour, to rest on each other in all sorrow, to minister to each other in all pain, to be one with each other in silent unspeakable memories at the moment of the last parting?” — George Eliot
