Happy Friday indeed! Today I woke up to a feature by Trendy Bride from my collaborative bridal shoot with Margaret Snider Artistry, Rhapsody in Blooms, Jaclyn Jordan NYC, Bella Belle Shoes, and Shalinda Clarke.
This shoot in the deep woods of Cator Woolford Gardens in Atlanta, features details by the talented Shasta Bell Calligraphy, Jenny Packham’s shooting star earrings, The Poetry of Silk’s gorgeous ribbons, The Mrs. Box, and a vintage onyx ring with a diamond shining like a lone star in the dark sky.
Shot in December, we were inspired by the New Year coming, and stars were a centrifugal force in the design. From the bridal gown to the ring, an ethereal-space vibe was created.
A celestial crown was created, star hair pins, and Shalinda in Jaclyn’s dress “Edith” stole the show. Robin from Rhapsody in Blooms was left to her own creative devices to create the perfect bouquet. Full of “bunny tails”, white branches, and the alien-like lotus pods gave an otherworldly presence that fit the theme perfectly. Margaret kept Shalinda’s makeup and hair simple, but with a dusting glow of eyeshadow that mimicked stardust and the star pins in her locks that made it seem that Shalinda fell from the sky itself; herself an angel in the woods.

“This is what styled shoots are all about – taking classic wedding themes and infusing them with imaginative ideas. From the stardust-inspired gown to the earthy accents and location, this styled inspiration has us looking towards the heavens in awe.”
I can’t help but agree.
